Fever in the funk house

Hurrah, i'm posting again!!! I think its been too long, not too sure, but here 'tis THE UPDATE. Friday was the last day of exams, and after school we all went to the square to 'celebrate', though we didnt really do anything. Then there was a small group of us that decided to go to the show for the night, which consisted of myself, michael, andy, laura, dav and steph. First of all, we got to the show and went straight for the showbags and stuff and it was dav's first time also, so yeah very exciting. We went on the dodgems a few times, i went on once with steph and once with michael and there was this little nerd kid who kept yelling and pulling weird faces and i thought he had rabies or sumthin. We went on the ferris wheel and it was reeeally cold when ur at the top and i get scared of heights very easily and yeah. The others went on a few other rides, but nothing beats dodgems. The food there cost like $400 for a hotdog, but atleast you got free viewing of the cannon lady and the rocket man, and by the way the monster trucks are REEAAALLY LAME. WE were there from about 6-10, and afterwards we stopped off at flinders and grabbed some maccas and went straight home.
Then came saturday. I took the day off with some bass playing and quality tv while my parents are away at Seymour, and then my mate max came round and we just chilled for a while with a few guitars. he left at like 6, then i just spent all night watching 3rd rock from the sun on dvd, and checking out some buddy rich solos (see buddy rich vs ed shaunessy on drummerworld.com), and then went to bed at about 1 in the morning.
'Tis now sunday, almost lunchtime, and simpsons is blaring in the background. Ah, simpsons....
I'm eating all my chocolate and goodies from my willy wonka showbag. Yuuuummmm....

#song of the day- Funk Brothers- Whats going on?# This is a typical funk/pop song of the 80's, and the band has one of the best bass players that ever lived, James Jamerson. Seriously, no-one has really heard of him but he is pretty funky in this other song 'fever in the funk house' (note the title of this post), but yeah, get into some quality funk people, and jazz also, cuz Buddy Rich is my Buddy.
