My name is mud... not to be mistaken

HELLOOOOO!
Gosh its been like over a week now since my last post. Sorry bout that people, but im blogging to keep the spirit up. A lot has actually happened since my last post. I've actually improved my bass skills quite a bit (though i still suck), but i now know how to do slap bass, and i'm working out thumb slap bass. For those who have no idea what i'm on about, visit www.primusville.com/animals (first click on 'freak' down the bottom) and click on all the home movie links with pictures of bass guitars on them so you can know how much i'm in love with les. Anyway, i'm still absolutley obsessed with Primus and Les Claypool (the colonel), and i've attempted to get some others into Primus, but i think you have to be a bass player to like their weird and somewhat funky music. Actually, they've just about tought me everything i know about playing bass, which reminds me THIS WEEK i'm starting bass lessons at school! Hopefully i can be in the stage bands with the fellows, that'd be supra-awesome. Yesterday Ross, Tess and Miki went to south street (i think they're the only ones that went, correct me if i'm wrong...actually, fi went later that day ehehe) and i actually decided to wake up at 6 in the morning to bid them farewell. I have no idea why i chose to torture my saturday like this, but i did. Anyway, i missed the freaking train so i ran to blackburn hs to get there in time to say goodbye, but when i got there everyone was on the bus. I didnt want to walk up to the bus and wave at everyone like a complete dipshit, so i waited on the main road and waved at the bus as it drove by..... noone saw me. Sooo, what was the point in waking up at 6:00 am to say hello to nothing? I DONT KNOW. But anyway, i got a surprise call from the peoples on the bus and they started talking about rabbits. Ahhh two weeks left of school, and 1 1/2 weeks left till exams. I'm shitting myself, seriously (pardon my french) becuz i've always sucked at maths no matter how much i study, i havent read my english book (and the exam is based on this book), i dont know german at all apart from the basics, i've been failing science like never before, and SOSE... well, lets just say i could give a shit about world war one, or about the gold diggers. Ih well, its just one step closer to VCE i guess. I'm very sorry to my good friend Tess becuz i wont be doing the next part to the adventures of ron and jimmy, due to my lack of inspiration and my desire to do nothing but practice bass. Sometime this week, I PROMISE!!!!!!! Anyway, i'll leave you all in await for my next post, which will be as lame and as primus-obsessed as this one. Stay cool people, you always have. >jim

The blog spirit resides somewhere withing us all. Taking that spirit and giving it life requires skill, finesse and talent. You are one of the few that posses those characteristics, jim, and if i were you, i'd cherish them. CHERISH THEM!!

We are the music makers, and we are the dreamers of dreams.
