Release the bats

My fingers are absolutely disguistingly hacked because i play too much bass.
I dont use a pick at all either, so its all fingers. Which means when im old i will have really bad arthritis or something...but thats only if i keep playing. Which i will :)

Anyway, as usual, how are you all? Seriously, noone posts blogs or comments anymore, so... why do i keep doing this? Probably because its like a diary. Comments would be appreciated at the same time though. I think me and Marty are the only bloggers of our kind left.... hooray us.

Did you all go to school, because i rocked up for like a minute, saw how many people were at school in year 10, then left straight away. Instead i just spent the whole day with Luke. We cruised the towns (blackburn, mitcham, ringwood) buying Fish and Chips and meeting up with fellow people (sean, miki, laura) and Luke had a little bit too drink at my place so he was a little bit drunk. I didnt have anything to drink, because im saving my health for tonights occasion.

Tonight is Shaunos birthday gettogether, which will involve Shauno (obviously), Myself, Rico, Stuart Fitton and Todd. Marty has backed out for understandable reasons, and unfortunantly DD cant make it either, but ah well, it should be a grand night, and hopefully another memorable one. If we play some drunken iToy, ill be satisfied. Its disguisting the amount of drinks we have tonight for 5 people, i wont even tell you how many cans we have.

The day after Shaunos gettogether, i will be hungover and hanging out with Lyndon. We went into GoLo the other day to try on hats, and they were going to throw him out because he was browsing the shelves wearing a GoLo dressing gown. Ah, GoLo people are no fun...

School is the same, blah blah. Nothing cool has happened, well, none that i can remember. Had a third Ubung rehearsal (minus Jordan and Peady) which was okay, but we were lacking in the 'what songs to play' department.

I fucking cannot wait until Big Day Out 2007. This years will never be beaten though because i saw:

-Iggy Pop (was in the middle of insane moshpit :D best, funnest and deadliest moshpit ever because i kept falling over and kept getting moshed on, and i had to buy new shoes after that show because they were hacked)
-The Go! Team (was close to the stage, and was the most enegrgetic shit you'll ever see, two drummers aswell)
-Gerling (was very close to the stage, gerling always put on a fucking wicked show, and i think darren was high by the looks of it)
-White Stripes (meh)
-The Living End (always fun)
-British India (great new band, put on a great energetic gig, mad solos)

So, come on Big Day Out 07, show me what you've got.

It's oh so quiet

Well, i have decided that i am going to study for 'Bachelor of behavioural studies' for my university course, after school finishes. Basically, its studying the behaviour of humans, which is, in a nutshell, psychology. Yeah.

Once again, how are we all today? I'm swell, although i feel quite deprived of air. Ive been inside all day, playing Super Mario 64 and listening to music, and playing ska songs on bass and guitar.
I got 120 stars of Super Mario 64 which i am EXTREMELY proud of (give me kudos), and ive been listening to certain bands and singers non-stop today. Its been great. Although i would have preffered to of gone out, preferably on a lads day out, but ah well.

Well, Ubung is still rolling, and probably will be for quite some time because, well, we have fans and we're all happy playing and doing what we're doing. No more recordings though. 4 songs up on the website, listen if you havent heard.

School is annoyingly similar every day to the day before. People get outside and complain how boring lunchtime is for about an hour until its time to go to class. I do it aswell, but ive been hanging with Jordan, Luke, Peady and the munchkins lately which has been cool.
*note* the munchkins are about five year 9 girls, who are the Ubung groupies. i only know the names of three of them. but yeah, they're cool, but i dont think they like me, probably because im a bass player. Luke said they thought i was funny though.
After school i hang out with Luke, discussing what songs Ubung should play, then i catch a bus home, or walk halfway home...then bus. Whatever. I did walk home about a week ago, from school. Twas good.

Last weekend i went to LAN with Marty, Rico, DD, Andy and Michael. Sucked at Warcraft, but eventually did good on CS. Well, not good, but i didnt get absolutely completely pwned either.
That place reaks of nerd sweat.
Anyway, we played heaps of games, had some fun, ate some maccas and went home. Had an escalator race beforehand, which was a good workout.

The next day i was out in the city with Rosie, we went around to some cd shops, ate out. I didnt buy anything, except a slurpee, and other than that we watched a street performer on fed square, he was brilliant.

Swingin' like Tiger Woods

Just went for a job interview at Video Busters. The guy asked me a few questions, i answered them, he'll call me back in a couple of days. He had a grey beard, i hope i get to work there because i like looking at beards.

At the same time, i like earning the mullahh whilst looking at the beards.

So, outlanders, how are you all anyway? I think only Dav has ever answered this. Ever. But i thought id ask it again. Im fine, anyway. Today nothing really happened, except Luke's bike got stolen, and he actually borrowed it off his brother so he was reeeeal shitted. Punched a lot of things. Poor guy.
Oh, shit, almost forgot. TOM THREW HIS FUCKING BURRITO ON THE ROOF! FUCKIIINGNGNNNGGGGGG!!!!! But, i borrowed two bucks off William for a hotdog in batter. I said (and i promised) that if i dont pay him back tomorow, he can kick me hard in the balls.
And im very serious.

This weekend was pretty crap for me. I did miss out on the city outting for DD's birthday, and i did miss out on Ubung band rehearsal, and i did miss out on some picnic thing that i wasnt going to go to anyway. I spent all weekend in Warragul (countryside) at my grandparents place (or farm thing) with parents also. All weekend.
Things i did at the countryside:
-Eat. Grandma wants me fat.
-Play 'Brick' on my iPod. Got a high score.
-Play my bass.
-Sit around.

Yeah, you said it. "Jim, that sounds fucking gay." And you're right.

Nothing to say about school though, i basically do nothing except chill with everyone. And possibly go around the school with either Jordan, Luke, Peady or Saska looking for our band groupies. They hate me for some reason, probably because bass players arent looked fondly upon. Understandable.

You all need to post more. Marty, fucking big kudos to you for posting really, really big posts.
