I'm the devil with a thousand eyes, what i don't see ain't worth my time

So, i kick back at just about 11 P.M on this quiet thursday night, after a day out with the guys, and stick on 40 minutes worth of soothing jazz (Art Blakey)...ahh, life is quite superb sometimes. Unfortunantly, the holidays are almost at an end, and you can already hear the children crying.

Quick note: I always bitch and complain about receiving no comments on these posts. Actually, the only re-occuring ones come from Marty. So, comments would be nice if you're actually reading, they sorta indicate that people still read Extra Coffee. Because im so close to just giving this thing up.

Anyways, back to the summary of the week...

Sunday
Well, my memory is blank about this day, but i probably did nothing except watch Galaxy Angel. Daym that show is good.

Monday
I had a good spongebath in redneck town, and it was pretty cheap too. That lasted for about 6 hours, then i went to meet Eric at Mitcham station to venture up to Martys place. All we did was watch shitloads of anime until 2 in the morning, then back at it again the next morning for another few hours.
We got into Galaxy Angel, Eva, Excel Saga, Kino's Journey (man that show is good Marty), Love Hina, Cowboy Bebop, ROD the TV, Perfect Blue *shudders with insanity*, and probably more.
We had nachos for dinner, made by the three of us, and we layered it with cheese and salsa. It tasted awesome. Later on we attempted some Muffins, but they ended up getting burnt and they tasted like ass/charcoal. Good times.

Tuesday
This was the day after 'Anime Sleepover at Martys joint', and we all just woke up and started watching more anime, making Perfect Blue and Eva calls and quotes until it was time to head home. Me and Rico walked back to the Belgrave station remembering the anime memories, then i just got home and basically watched more anime and went on the computer until sleep time.

Wednesday
This day happened to be 'Regurgitator Non-Stop Marathon' day. From 12:00-4:30pm, i stuck on 5 Regurgitator albums and 1 E.P in my dads 6-disc stereo, set it to random, and had it playing all day, full blast. It happened to be the most awesome thing ever, and probably one of my most greatest ideas ever.
It started off with 'Feels Alright!' which is perfect to get anyone into the Gurge mood. So yeah, all day i was just listening to loud Regurgitator tracks (i easily listened to every song) and singing along to most of them.
A surprisingly satisfying day.

Thursday
Today was Random Bus Day #2. Matt starred as a guest appearence, but unfortunantly at the beginning of the day we all got on a bus before he got to the meeting spot, until Marty was like "shit, wheres Matt!??!?" but we went back and got him. Sorry Matt dude.
We spent a little while trying to find a bus that looked good, but at first all we found were bogan buses...i cant remember any of the bogan names, but they were shit!
We all ended up going back to Chadstone to chill at shops and have lunch. We went to Myers to toy around with the Apple Mac gadgets, and made a lot of amusing photoshopped photos of ourselves. I plugged my iPod into the iPod speakers and blasted some J-pop, Smashing Pumpkins, Fantomas and much more, so i was satisfied. We left an insane mirror image of us doing crazy shit on the display computer for everyone to see. Oh the memories.

Then headed to St Kilda via tram (with Matt yelling out things like "Hey you with the face!" out the window).
We got off the tram at some freeway, looking around like "wtf are we doing here" then saw a sign saying "St Kilda Reach" so we were all like "Ohhhh! Lets go to St Kilda Reach! Then maybe we'll visit the beach!" (Someone scratched the sign to make it say Reach, if you're not catching on). DD had to leave early, so we all waved goodbye, and then i think it was at this stage where Eric started acting weird. Yeah, he also played more pokemon on his gameboy today, thus reducing the chances of Shauno and DD picking up chicks.

An arrival was finally made at the beach, where we chilled a bit and threw stones at seagulls, then played some burrito frisbee. For real. Until the burrito broke. We got some photos taken, Eric chased Shauno around a bit more, then we sorta headed back home...well, i stayed around the city by myself and got Simon and Garfunkel's 'Sounds of Silence' album for cheap, THEN i went home.

And here i am :)
I probably missed out on some things, but when i remember ill just edit those bits in again.

Ciao!

*sounds of the crowd aplauding to the entrance of Pyramid Head*

Okay, i really wanna watch some anime, so ill keep this short.

Just got back from MANIFEST 2006. What a freakin' cres experience. It was packet full of anime fanatics, and a large majority of the fanatics were dressed up as characters from anime series/movies and video games. There was some really good costumes, like Cloud (freakin cool sword), Link, Sailor Moon...we saw Luke there (not Luke Simms, but the Luke that lives at Dav's house) and he was dressed up as someone. But there was just loads and loads and LOADS of other sweet (and sometimes skimpy) costumes.

But most importantly, for the 'cosplay', someone dressed up as....PYRAMID HEAD. Fuck yes!
Man, the moment they announced him on stage, i almost had a heart attack. People cheered like lunatics. One of the happiest moments in my life.
Yes, Manifest is pure insanity. The memories will be forever remembered.

Manifest was also packed with cool stuff to buy, like figurines and cheap manga, etc, and i ended up buying the complete collection of Galaxy Angel, volume 2 of R.O.D the TV and a Boo figurine from Super Mario. The other guys (Marty, DD, Rico, Kai, William) bought other cool shit too. They had a room for Dance Dance Revolution matches, a huge room just for video game tournaments, and various theatres for anime series viewings. Arghh, the excitement still lives on......
Okay, i have finished my Manifest rant, although i really could keep writing more and more.

Other holiday occasions so far:
-Hung out with Rosie and Marty in the city. Went to state library and shops, had some coffee, and overall had a really cool day.

-The lads went to the city for shop browsing and purchasing. I saw Silent Hill at the movies for the first time (argh, so good) and Marty joined me because he just...wanted more, i guess. I dont blame him. Then after that, we all went back to Martys place, ate heaps of junk food, played a bit of Timesplitters, then got into some Tomb Raider and Lego Star Wars before we got too tired.

-The next day, Joel's neighbours place. Yes, Joel got his neighbours place free again, so the lads (plus Stuart and Joel) all rocked up and played iToy and Timesplitters, with a bit of poker, and lets not forget the drinking. Only Marty, Shauno, DD and myself got drunk, but i was too tired and sick to do anything interesting, so the other guys seemed to make the night fun. I cant remember too much of what happened, but we danced to Daft Punk again and... other things.

Shit, theres probably a few hilarious and memorable events ive missed out, so i do apologize, but i really wanna watch some Galaxy Angel, right now. Soooo...if ive missed out something, either blog it or comment it. Keep having a good holidays,

I cant think of anything to put here. Probably the first time.

Man, what an exhausting week. I really put a full effort into working at JB HiFi. 45 hours i worked, for $25 and a free misfits cd. Not worth it, although i like the money and cd very much. Basically all week i was doing all sorts of jobs. Basically labelling and packing hundreds of cds and dvds, storing shit everywhere, putting things on shelves, doing odd jobs, counting stuff, etc.
For 8 hours a day, thats tiring, okay?
But all the staff were really friendly and funny, and they all thanked me on my last day for doing a superb job. So it wasnt that bad in the end.

Anyways, how are we all this week? Yeah, probably all tired. But you get that. But hey:
THE HOLIDAYS HAVE STARTED!!!

Oo yeah, thats right. Its very exciting. Havent got much planned though.Today i'm not even doing anything. Tomorow ill be seeing the papa which is always a cres day. I might go to the royal melbourne show if i can be bothered scraping up 50 bucks for cheap exhibitions, short expensive rides and showbags with useless crap in them. Yeah, maybe. Carnies need my money.

I wish that i could have more to post about, buuut...nothing has happened apart from work expierience and i cant remember last weekend. Umm. Nah, i cant.

Anyways, if you wanna catch up these holidays, call me up. Especially if you're name is Josh McCall.

Waiting for the meat

Hey, how are you? First of all, apologies for the extreeeme lateness of this post, but hardly anyone visits so i thought: "fuck you all" and couldnt be arsed. But, now i can :) Once again, cheers to the remaining blog visiters, our kind will NOT go extinct...

Anyways, its been a huge couple of weeks, and yes, you heard correctly, Ubung has broken up. Because Luke and Jordan have moved into another band. So me and Saska are ditched. I was pissed off about the situation before, but now i dont care because i realised i dont really listen to metal that much (apart from Tool and Iron Maiden and whatever else) let alone PLAYING the type of music. So yeah. Its just a shame we didnt get to pull of one single kickass gig.

Friday night (couple of nights ago) i spent the night at Ash's place because she was having a gettogether with about ten people, and i was one of the invited kind. So i turned up. Was a good night, lot of interesting things happened, and surprisingly: no drinking. Which didnt mean we didnt have a good time. Got some chinese food for dinner and got hardly any sleep. Always a good scenario :)

Anyways, the next morning (this morning) i left the place at about 8:30, went home and got myself organised and ready to spend a day in the city with Rosie. We checked out the cafes and all the cool shops, and she toured me through the State Library which is the COOLEST PLACE EVER theres heaps there, but yeah. We got more photobooth pictures which are always nice, and in general just had a great day.

I just got home not long ago, and im very tired because ive had a lack of sleep. I was invited to a party on the way home from the city today, i refused straight away because im exhausted and am wanting to play some nintendo. Or something.

Other things have happened throughout the past few weeks, i cant remember what ive done lately though.

I think thats about it, ill catch you all later, and please comment,
